A business license is required by government. A vendors license is required, issued by government or private, commercial, industry, whomever is the buyer. A vendor is registered with a particular major buyer.
There is no such thing as bugless software. Even after reasonably intense beta-testing, a lot of the bugs still show themselves only in real-world practical use. One simply cannot foresee every single situation that would trigger an error or a crash. The objective is to do your best to reveal and clap as many bugs as possible before the final release. Many companies prefer to instead send patches down the road after the release, I agree. I do, however believe, that Windows and other Microsoft products could have been much more stable and reliable had some of the profits been invested in the improvement of the software, rather than Bill Gates' lavish personal living. I think there's not much software vendors can do besides the usual letting people rate and review products.
Very very tough to negotiate the terms when you are just starting out and have just opened an account with vendors. They often require payment upfront. Being a new account with no payment history with them, you have no bargaining power with them. But after a few deals, and if your volume increases, then they are more likely to work with you for net 30 terms. Talk to them. Tell them that you expect this relationship to last and use their products continuously. Then ask if you could be given net 30 terms. Some, after 1 or 2 pre paid orders, are more willing to give you net 30 terms.

There are two ways of doing this: 1) Use a wireless terminal A wireless terminal works just like a cell phone. Anywhere you can make a phone call you can process credit cards. Wireless terminals are self sufficient as they do not need a telephone line (they are wireless) or an external source of electricity as they are battery powered. This means you can bring it to your stand and process just as if you were in a typical retail store. This offers you the lowest rates and the most security as you get results immediately. Drawbacks: They are expensive 2) Use a manual imprinter An alternative to wireless terminals is the manual imprinter. What you would do is imprint your customers’ credit card orders at the fair/market and have them sign the imprinted credit card slip. You will give them a copy as a receipt and take theirs back to your home or office. You will then manual key enter your orders into your basic credit card terminal so you can receive payment. For large or suspicious orders you can call for a voice authorization on their cell phone to verify and freeze the funds on their credit card. You then can claim those funds from a basic terminal like the Verifone Trans 380 that you have back your home, office, or even hotel room. Drawbacks: You don't get immediate results for your processing and may pay higher rates Processing with a laptop won't work as you will need a wireless signal to connect to the Internet. At remote locations these are almost never available. This makes using software on a laptop a non-viable option for you at this point in time. -------------------- EDIT: You'd be surprised how willing people are to let you imprint their card. It is still a very common and important tool in processing credit cards and is often required in cases where you are face-to-face with the customer but can't swipe their card through a terminal which would apply to you if you didn't use a wireless terminal. A payment gateway is basically software that runs on someone else's computer that let's you process credit card sales online. Normally they are used with websites (i.e. shopping carts) but most also support keyed sales through a virtual terminal and some even support swipers. This only works if you will have Internet access at your event. What is a payment gateway? - http://www.merchant-account-services.org/blog/what-is-a-payment-gateway/
Pork Barbeque Ingredients: 1 kg. pork 20 bamboo skewers 1 cup soy sauce 1 head garlic, minced 1 onion, finely chopped 1/4 cup of calamansi juice or lemon juice 1/2 cup of 7up, sprite or beer (optional) 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 3 tablespoons of brown or white sugar 1/2 cup of banana or tomato catsup Barbeque Cooking Instructions: Cut pork meat into thin and long slices - 1/4 inches thick and less than 2 inches wide. In a mixing bowl, marinate the cut pork with the soy sauce, minced garlic, chopped onions, calamansi juice, ground pepper, sugar, banana catsup and the soda or beer (this tenderizes and adds flavour to the pork barbeque) Mix well and keep in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (turning occasionally). Prepare the bamboo skewers by removing splinters and soaking in water to reduce burning during barbeque. String the pork on the skewers. Over live charcoals, barbeque the pork on skewers until each barbeque is cooked - turning every few minutes on each side and basting the leftover marinate on the barbeque.
I'm not sure if you're asking a question or making a complaint here? If you're wanting to know why a company is doing something, you'd need to get a hold of their planning department.
Put all of the requirements on a spreadsheet and match against the various package. Finish off with a report summarizing in layman terms what you means by the spreadsheet and make your recommendation there.
Depending on the design, I should be able to beat that price. Matthew matthew@digitalmayheminc.com http://www.digitalmayheminc.com
Well, I am a professional face painter so I can answer this. You are a mobile business. Your services may be offered in various cities in your area. So YES you will need several business licenses. Most cities will offer a license that expires in a month, but I would shell out the money to get the yearly license in cities you know you will be frequenting. Also, if the place you are is unincorporated, you need a county business license. You also need a fictitious business name statement, and an Employee Identification Number so that you can get a bank account in your company name. For CYA reasons, I would also get General liability insurance, most events require it . $1,000,000's worth of it. Hope that helps! Have fun painting!
Forget about real stuff from vendors. why do you think its so cheap? Its a cheap knockoff. As far as haggleing goes, never pay what they ask..Offer them 1/2..Remember, theres so many vendors to haggle with..have fun
It is quite possible to make a decent income off eBay, but you have to know what you're doing. There are no quick and easy shortcuts, or everyone would be making a fortune on eBay. But it is easy to get started. Ebay offers a rather complete Seller’s Tutorial that explains how to get started, what it costs, and the mechanics of using the site. You can find it here: http://pages.ebay.com/sellercentral/index.html Determining what to sell is much more complicated than merely listing an item. You need to (1) chose a product that is in demand, (2) know your product extremely well, (3) have a source to purchase that product at a very good price, (4) know the marketplace for your product, (5) know where you can fit into that market, and (6) be able to sell your product at a competitive price on eBay, yet (7) still assure yourself of an adequate profit for your effort. It's not easy to get started, as you can see, but if you get all the pieces to fit properly, it can be very lucrative.
i dont know the top five but as a contractor who has worked in hundreds of luxury homes , i can offer these reccomendations, as they are the most commom brands fo high end furniture...for leather and upholstered furniture go with bernhard or henredon. For wood product go with stickley
I don't know about New York, but there's no hot dog vendors in Abilene Texas!!
Paris! my favorite city... its not really chocolate..... I did a lot of research to figure it out last year when we got back from paris..... go to this site and never mind about the star ratings... it is a high egg low flour recipe. and inside the crepe it's not chocolate.... hold on.... i have a jar in the pantry I'll get the name for you.... O.K. it's called Nutello..... its a hazlenut choclate spread... yea, i know... its suprising. I had never heard of it but i rememer paying attention to the jar at the street vendor so that I could make them for my wife when we got home. anyway, you can get it at the grocery store and it should be right around the spreads.... e.g. peanut butter etc. and the good thing about it is that the jar lasts forever. remember to use a high egg content with little flour.... here in the U.S. there is a tendency to use too much flour for the recipes and that is why they turn out different..... believe me, I have spent a lot of time exploring this. hope it helps. sorry! almost forgot the recipes link allrecipes.com
Hi P, unsanitary and unethical business practices in the food sector undoubtedly make up a part of the gloomier side of Taiwan society. For the interest of health, it is advised not to eat indiscriminately. I don't say that people should altogether avoid these street vendors, but: 1. Stick only to those you trust, and AT LEAST single out those vendors that look cleaner and more organized. 2. If you must take food from these vendors, never ever eat too much, especially in summer (so sorry to hear about what happened to the first respondent.) 3. Avoid these streetside milktea vendors, and stick to 50嵐 (50 Lan) or Coco. 4. It is true about the oil being reused many times over, so avoid fried foods if you can. It would seem that the enumeration above has mostly taken away the fun of nightshopping, but you have to know that most everything offered in nightmarkets are cheap food/commodities Then again, it's one of the appeals of night markets: you get to feel like a rich man even though there's not plenty left in the wallet. The Taiwan DOH is doing a wonderful job at uncovering the various unclean unsafe foods that are out there. We regularly hear about this in the news. They have also exposed a lot of these unscrupulous businessmen who care only about personal gains instead of putting public health as first priority (remember the stinky tofu scandal?) And yet, I feel that they're not doing enough (待加強.) The cancer rate in Taiwan is still very high.
I don't think it's their fault. McDonald's should be a treat, not an everyday meal. You know what you're getting into when you go there. It's not going to come as a suprise to everyone that a Double Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese isn't low in calories and rich in vitamins. I don't blame the fast food chains for weight problems, I really have to blame the person. Don't go crying because you're obease after eating Micky D's everyday. You know what you're getting into.
yea, I've seen some. I forgot where, but some of the jewelry are fake, so I don't trust them
