Management consulting firm Accenture Ltd. said that Pamela Craig has assumed the role of chief financial officer of the company. Accenture had announced on August 22 that Ms. Craig would become CFO on October 31. Craig, who has served as senior vice president of finance since 2004, succeeds Michael McGrath, who has been named international chairman. Craig joined Accenture in 1982 and was elected a partner in 1991. Prior to serving as senior vice president of finance, she was group director of business operations & services, responsible for Accenture's geographic services organization.
Maurice L. McAlister, Chairman of the Board of Downey Financial Corp. announced that Michael D. Bozarth has been elected Director of the Board of Downey Financial Corp., increasing the size of the Board from nine to eleven members. Downey Financial Corp., which now has $17 billion in assets, has had nine Directors since 1995 when it had $4.7 billion in assets. Most recently, Bozarth served as a Managing Partner in the Financial Services Industry Practice at Accenture. Mr. Bozarth served at Accenture (and various of its affiliates) from 1984 to 2005 in a number of consulting positions. Mr. Bozarth's practice has focused, in part, on strategy, planning and the implementation of large scale technology infrastructure programs for some of the largest retail banks, lenders and credit card companies both domestically and internationally.

Peak ICT industry body, The Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) has appointed Sheryle Moon as its new Chief Executive Officer to replace Rob Durie, who leaves the Association in December. Moon has worked in the ICT sector for more than 25 years in senior leadership positions including Vice President of Computer Sciences Corporation, and a managing partner with Accenture. In 1999, she was named Australian Business Woman of the Year, and she sits on a number of Australian Government advisory boards.

Vector Capital of San Francisco, a private equity firm, appointed Elizabeth Katz vice president. Katz was director of corporate business development at PeopleSoft and held senior positions at Ariba and Tradex Technologies. She also served at Accenture.

Innotas of Oakland, a provider of on-demand portfolio management services, appointed Keith Carlson president and chief executive officer. Carlson held leadership positions at Traiana and was vice president of customer value and alliances at Kintana. He also served as a partner at Accenture and chief customer officer at DigitalThink.
